Nortek Resource Solutions is a multidisciplinary Consulting Firm that was established in 1999.  With origins in natural resource management, Nortek has developed into a firm that provides a broad range professional and technical services that focus on natural resource and land management.

Nortek offers a variety of professional services that are based on geospatial technologies and natural resource consulting. We provide GIS services which range from basic data capture to extracting data from Lidar or image based point cloud data. 

Our forestry consulting services include field timber cruising, operational layout, trespass assessments with volume reconstruction, remediation planning, expert testimony and forest management planning.  With a network of associates to draw from, Nortek can provide a one stop contact for simple and complex projects.

Nortek provides custom vertical aerial photography that is available in a range of resolutions using conventional aircraft and UAV's (Drones).  Nortek is directly involved in all facets of mission planning including flight line layout,  image acquisition, post processing and data interpretation.  We provide various post processing services to enhance raw imagery which include auto rectification, orthorectification and mosaic generation.  Precise digital surface models (DSM) and digital elevation models (DEM) are extracted from aerial photography. We also have developed the use of large scale aerial photography as image plots for various applications.
